Koide Roll Timeline

June 1914 We established Koide Ironwork at Honzyomidori-cho in Sumida-Ku, Tokyo.
November 1948 We started building a factory at Ishihara-cho 1-13 in Sumida-Ku, Tokyo, and Koide Ironwork became institutionalized as Koide Ironwork Incorporated.
September 1969 We renamed it into Koide Roll Ironwork Incorporated and specialized in various types of roll production, processing and grinding.
May 1970 We started running Narashino Worksite.
July 1971 As Narashino Worksite expanded, it became our main factory and equipped the newest style of heavy machinery for roll production.
March 1971 As beginning to deal with Nippon Steel Corporation, we started running a branch office at the service center of NS's worksite in Kimitsu-shi, Chiba.
July 1972 We built our corporate headquarter building.
March 1975 We established Koide Transport Incorporated.
April 1983 We started running Kashima branch office, which was located next to Kashima Iron Mill of Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd.
July 1986 We established Koide Roll Engineering Incorporated. (The materials department was spun off.)
April 1993 We started running Mizushima branch office in Kurashiki-shi, Okayama.
January 1997 We expanded Narashino Worksite.
August 1999 We started running Fukuyama branch office in Fukuyama-shi, Hiroshima.
May 2002 We obtained ISO 9001:2000.
September 2005 We added the large-scaled machining center to Narashino Worksite.
